Clear answers to common questions about AppMato.
What is AppMato and which services are covered?
AppMato provides a shared account, application launcher, and connected tools for communication, productivity, storage, media, discovery, creativity, shopping, and other activities. The general Terms and Privacy Policy cover the AppMato account and common platform services. A particular application may display additional terms or a feature-specific privacy notice when its data, provider, or risks are different.
Do I need an AppMato account?
Some public pages may be available without signing in. An account is required for features that save content, synchronise preferences, manage sessions, submit verified privacy requests, or otherwise need to identify the user. You are responsible for keeping your password and verification codes confidential.
What personal data does AppMato collect?
The data depends on the feature you use. It may include account and contact information, authentication and session records, content you create or upload, application activity, device and technical information, support communications, and transaction information where a paid or commerce feature is used. The Privacy Policy explains these categories and the purposes for processing them.
How can I control or withdraw optional consent?
Use Privacy Choices to review optional functional and analytics browser-storage choices. Product-update preferences are managed separately in signed-in account settings. Essential storage used for authentication, security, and core settings cannot always be disabled while the relevant service is in use. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that already occurred, and a feature may stop working when its required permission is withdrawn.
How can I access, correct, export, or delete my data?
Use the Data rights page or the authenticated privacy-request workflow to request access, correction, export, deletion, consent withdrawal, or grievance review. AppMato may verify your identity before releasing or changing account data. Erasure may not cover records that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, financial obligations, legal claims, backups, or regulatory compliance.
What happens when I delete my account or content?
Deletion removes or schedules removal of data that AppMato no longer needs, subject to technical dependencies and lawful retention. Some limited records may remain for security, fraud prevention, tax, dispute, or regulatory purposes. Copies may also remain temporarily in protected backups until their normal rotation completes and will not be restored for ordinary use.
How are AI prompts, files, and generated content handled?
AI, speech, image, code, search, and media tools may process prompts, uploads, and generated results to provide the requested feature. Do not submit confidential, regulated, or highly sensitive information unless the feature expressly supports that use. Output may be inaccurate, biased, incomplete, or non-unique and must not be treated as professional legal, medical, financial, employment, or safety advice.
You remain responsible for checking that your prompts, uploads, and use of generated output are lawful and do not violate another person’s privacy, copyright, trademark, image, or voice rights. Materially altered or synthetic content must not be used to impersonate, deceive, harass, or misrepresent a real person.
Who owns the content I create or upload?
You retain ownership of your original content. You give AppMato the limited permissions needed to host, process, transmit, display, secure, and back up that content for the service you request. You must have the necessary rights and permissions for anything you upload, publish, or share.
Can children use AppMato?
AppMato’s general account is currently intended for adults. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection framework, a child is a person under eighteen. A child account must not be created or supervised unless the specific service supports a verified parent or lawful-guardian flow. AppMato does not knowingly permit behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children except where a notified legal exception applies.
How does AppMato use cookies and browser storage?
Essential cookies or local storage may keep you signed in, protect the service, remember core settings, and record privacy choices. Optional analytics or communication storage must remain disabled until you choose it and the production cookie inventory identifies the provider, purpose, data, and duration. You can change optional choices later through Privacy Choices.
How does AppMato protect my account?
AppMato uses measures such as password hashing, authentication controls, session records, access restrictions, logging, backups, monitoring, and incident-response processes appropriate to the service and risk. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password, protect one-time codes, review active sessions, and report suspected unauthorised access promptly.
How do I report harmful, unlawful, infringing, or impersonating content?
Use the Support form or the Contact and grievance page and identify the material, location, right or rule involved, and information needed to assess the report. For privacy complaints involving a realistic altered or synthetic image or voice, explain how the person is identifiable and whether consent was given. Do not include passwords, one-time codes, or unnecessary identity documents.
Where is my data processed and how long is it retained?
AppMato and its approved providers may process information in more than one country. The Providers and subprocessors page will identify material providers and processing locations after the production inventory is verified. Retention varies by data type, application, purpose, legal requirement, and account choice; AppMato does not promise that every category is stored for the same period.
How do I raise a privacy grievance?
For authenticated requests, sign in and open Settings → Data & Privacy. Account export and deletion requests are recorded for review; submitting one is not an instant deletion. You may also contact privacy@appmato.com with your account email and a clear description, but never send a password or one-time code.
How will I know when these policies change?
Each policy displays a last-updated date. AppMato may also provide an in-product or account notice when a material change affects your rights, choices, or use of the service. Earlier versions should be archived when the policy-version system is connected.
