Copyright & content rights

How AppMato handles ownership, uploaded profile images and media, infringement reports, and serious or repeat violations.
1. Your content and profile images
You retain ownership of original content and profile pictures that you upload. You grant AppMato only the limited permissions needed to store, process, display, transmit, secure, and back up that material for the feature you request. You must have permission to upload another person’s image, voice, writing, music, software, or other protected material.
2. AppMato and third-party material
AppMato names, logos, interface elements, documentation, and original media are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Third-party applications, icons, embeds, media, links, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. A link or integration does not mean AppMato owns or endorses the material.
3. Copyright and likeness reports
A report should identify the protected work or personal likeness, the specific AppMato location or account involved, why the use is unauthorised, your contact details, and a good-faith statement that the information is accurate. Use the Support form or the Contact and grievance route. AppMato may request verification and may preserve, restrict, or remove material while a report is reviewed.
4. Repeat and serious violations
AppMato may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate users who repeatedly or seriously infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or image rights. Counter-notices or appeals will be handled where applicable law requires them. AppMato has not designated a United States DMCA agent at this time; copyright reports should use the Contact & grievance route.
